Timothée sealed the parcel, containing all of his written down and gained information furiously scribbled over the note pad, where he then handed it back to the delivery guy.

The delivery guy looked just how Leo had described him; a simple delivery guy, maybe thirty years old, wearing a bomber jacket, t-shirt, jeans and boots …

… However, he had small horns tattooed at either sides of his forehead.

He nodded at Timothée and turned away, leaving Leo’s apartment as quietly as he had entered it.

Tim looked back at Armie, who sat perched on the edge of Leo’s sofa.

“That was quick,” Armie cocked an eyebrow.

Tim made his way back to Armie and carefully planted each wrist over both of Armie’s shoulders.

“The hours up,” Tim’s eyes shifted from side to side, “I guess I should be getting back. They’ve got my schedule pretty tight.”

Armie sighed, a heavy chunk of red wine scented breath leaving his lips.

“I hate that they get to have you, and I don’t.”

Tim moved his face closer to Armie’s and kissed the tip of his nose.

“By the end of this year, things will be different.”

Armie gulped and shuffled away from Tim.

Tim stepped back as he watched Armie physically distance himself from him.

Tim dropped onto the couch with a bounce.

“What’s wrong?”

Armie rubbed the back of his head as he picked up his car keys.

“Did Leo … Did he tell you, how he got involved with The House of Horned Devils? Did he tell you who runs them?”

Tim hugged a nearby cushion, ignoring the curls of hair dangling over his eyelashes.

“I didn’t really ask. I was out of there as soon as he gave me the green light …” Tim slid to the edge of the couch, “… You normally take forever to tell me your secrets …” he narrowed his eyes, “… Whats with the urgency?”

Armie kept his back to Tim as he clenched his teeth, deciding to open up an entirely fresh set of information that he had kept from someone so important, for over three years …

“The person who runs The House of Horned Devils …”

Tim’s narrowed stare widened as Armie spoke out three words that promised to change the landscape of their future.

“… Is Miller’s brother …”
